A very important part of the activities involving my collection was organising exhibitions of my own and participating in appropriate exhibitions arranged by third parties. Up to the present time (January 2017) the total number of these amounts to 51, of which 26 were of my own making and 25 as a participant. Of these 51 exhibitions, 12 of them took place abroad.
All of them are listed in Appendix 1 of my second book. My very first display took place in May 1993 at the Flanders Technology trade fair in Ghent, whilst my biggest exhibition — covering 600 m² — at the Brussels44Centre in the heart of Brussels ran from September 1998 till January 1999. The most complicated display (from a logistics point of view) was the one held in April 2007 near Birmingham (UK) and I held my most successful exhibition at my own town in Halle (April 2008).
The following pages focus on some of them via a ‘photo reportage’ (from short glimpses to longer looks).
